Never played the MGS franchise but I know a bunch of my buddies that absolutely love it. I personally couldn't get the silliness of MGS4. Things like Snake healing himself by looking at a dirty magazine was just to silly for me. Or going inside a metal barrel and crashing down a hill taking out a few deaf soldiers. That's just not my cup of tea. I personally think the stealth aspects of the game is over rated since it sounds like the AI is the craps.
